Dan that tail vise is a great idea, my last bench had something sorta similar with a pipeclamp, but mine was designed nearly as well and i didn’t really dig it.. Vises from lee valley tools (clamp-on articulating vise, universal vise, multi-purpose vise, swivel-base mechanic's vises, detail hand vise, self-centering pen. Here was my main winter project in 1999. my new workbench. i've learned so much from others who've posted information.
